Mill Classifier Installation
Management of the full installation of new classifiers prior to the main outage ensuring disruption was kept to a minimum by working closely with both the client and the overhaul contractor.
Refurbishment of Coal Reclaimer
Re-commissioning of the coal ground hopper reclaim system at the station, including the new re-claim hopper grid and associated moving parts.
Combined Cycle Control Valve Replacement
Replacement of the control valves and modifications to the existing pipework to bring the control valve flow parameters in line with manufacturer’s requirements.
Combined Cycle Drain Pot Refurbishment
Supply and installation of the steam system drain pots together with modifications to level controllers and pipework differs.
Installation of Boiler and Associated Works
Full installation and testing of the combustion grate, water tube fluidised bed gas and biomass boiler, piping and attachments, balance of boiler house mechanical plant systems, combustion air fans and ducting, flue gas ducting and refractory works.
Cement Works Outage Maintenance
Management of all outage work projects, on-site inspections, project management and commissioning through an innovative “one-package” solution.
Harp Header Repairs and Replacement of Steam Valves
Contracted with providing an innovative Lifting Solution for restricted Access, PJD carried out Harp Header Inspection and Repairs and the Removal & Replacement of Steam Valves.
SO3 System Installation
Design, supply & installation of a state-of-the-art SO3 system, including the supply and installation of the storage tank, design of the pipe routing and installation and commissioning of the S03 system.
Boiler Outage & Term Maintenance
Principal contractor on site since 2001 delivering the boiler outage and term maintenance contract, while also completing a number of projects including Partial CMV replacement, Sling Rod and Top Dead space floor casing replacement and the HP & IP loop pipe renewal.
Fredenhagen Conveyor Replacement
Replacement and commissioning of two unique ash conveyors at the Hope Works Cement Plant during normal plant operations.
Installation of Boiler and Associated Balance of Plant
Complete installation and testing of the combustion grate, water tube boilers, piping and attachments, ash-handling systems, balance of mechanical plant systems and metallic industrial field piping.
Removal and Replacement of Bunker Linings
In line with a major programme of updates and improvements, PJD were contracted to remove, reline and replace the existing bunker.
Boiler Outage and Term Maintenance
Longstanding boiler outage and term maintenance contractor delivering a number of projects since 2003 including coal milling plant maintenance, boiler plant maintenance, pressure part repairs, air heater & draught plant maintenance
Repair and Maintenance Framework
Delivery of all repair and maintenance through a framework agreement, while also completing a major mid-life outage to realign and repair the HRSG internal trusses.
Steam Valve Repair
Reactive emergency repair works, providing emergency 24 hour project mobilisation for the external replacement of two valves on P91 material.
